2 simple steps for velvety feet that will also help for a better sleep!

After winter, where our feet were “locked” in socks and closed shoes, their care is more necessary than ever. Throughout this time, it is very likely that dead skin has accumulated on our feet and soles, resulting in a dry and rough surface. With Spring being here, we have another reason to take care of our feet, as we are going to be wearing our open-toed shoes and of course we want them to look velvety and healthy.

Although our feet are a part in our body that we may neglect to take care of, they are in huge need of pampering. Something that is good to know, is that the pores of the skin are bigger in our feet and legs and therefore we need to keep them clean by removing dead skin cells that accumulate.

A proper daily routine can therefore help us to take care of our feet, keep them clean and as a result reduce any odours resulting from lack of care. Something very interesting you are probably aware of, is that on our feet there are some ‘reflex points’ which correspond to different parts of our body and by massaging the area – the so-called ‘reflexology’, we can relieve ourselves of pain. This kind of massage can also help us to relax and achieve a better sleep, as well as improve blood circulation.

Our daily routine does not have to be “difficult” or complicated. All you will need are two products – one to cleanse and one to moisturize the area.

We start our routine with an exfoliating gel. The Exfoliating Body Gel Wash not only is used for daily cleansing of our entire body but is perfect for cleansing our feet as well. Therefore, we suggest that this particular routine be done just before you go to bed, so that you benefit in every way.
