Formulation of New Natural Shampoo Product – with bioactive ingredients such as peptides, collagen, and hyaluronic

The project NPD-CAPBLD/0825/0012 – CP-Shampoo concerns the development of a new natural bioactive shampoo, enriched with selected functional ingredients such as peptides, plant-based collagen, hyaluronic acid, hydrolysed wheat protein, aloe vera and botanical extracts.

The main objective of the project is to create an innovative haircare product that offers benefits beyond basic cleansing, including softness, shine, easier detangling, hydration, scalp comfort and stronger-looking hair. Within the project, formulation development and optimization were carried out, pilot batches were tested, user feedback was collected, and preparation was made for the required laboratory testing and regulatory documentation. The expected results include the completion of a final optimized natural bioactive shampoo formulation, the strengthening of the company’s internal capacity in research-driven cosmetic product development, and the preparation of the product for future market launch.

The project NPD-CAPBLD/0825/0012 was funded by the Research and Innovation Foundation, under the Enterprises Capacity Building in New Product Development Programme and through the Recovery and Resilience Facility of the NextGenerationEU instrument.
