Office Administrator & Sales Associate

We are looking for a motivated Sales and Administration Specialist to assist with both customer-facing and behind-the-scenes responsibilities in our retail environment. As part of this role, you will engage with customers to help identify and purchase the products they desire, driving our sales objectives. In addition, you will be responsible for several administrative duties to ensure smooth operations within our office.

Your primary focus will be on administrative tasks such as managing communications, coordinating schedules, and maintaining records. You’ll also be responsible for customer-facing tasks like selling, restocking, and merchandising to support our sales objectives.

Responsibilities

Administrative Tasks

• Manage administrative tasks such as organizing files, drafting correspondence, and overseeing mail and email communications.

• Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments with team members, suppliers, and external partners.

• Maintain inventory for both office supplies and production line items, checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and verifying orders.

• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.

• Develop and maintain both physical and digital filing systems for important company documents.

• Provide support to the management team for various operational tasks.

Customer Service and Sales

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service as a secondary role.

• Welcome and greet customers, ascertain their needs and wants.

• Manage point-of-sale processes when required.

• Maintain a basic level of store condition and visual merchandising standards.

• Assist in the receiving of new shipments as necessary.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Fluent in both oral and written Greek and English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel and Word.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with team members and external partners effectively.

• Previous experience in an administrative role is a plus.

• Customer service-oriented mindset, even in an administrative setting.

• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.

• Solid administrative skills including record-keeping and scheduling.

The salary of the successful candidate will be determined based on academic experience and mainly on customer orientation.
